Responsibilities

What we’re looking for:
 
Seeking a Marketing Strategist who will spearhead internal and external initiatives that will strengthen and grow our brand presence and business. The Marketing Strategist will be organized and detail-oriented, able to execute on deadline, an effective communicator and able to efficiently project manage all marketing initiatives across the organization.
 
What you’ll do:
  • Work with our president to develop and then implement an annual targeted marketing plan–including two thought leadership platforms per year.
  • Project managethe creation of social media, marketingcollateral, and thought leadership materials across the organization, working against deadlines and maintaining content calendars and timelines.
  • Develop a keen understanding of who we are and what we do—and be able to helpstaff with the resources needed to win new business.
  • Translate thought leadership ideas from senior staff to content that can be used to market and support the business.
  • Support partners and senior staff facilitating the developmentof marketing and new business assets that are used in campaigns, pitches, proposals by .partners and senior staff.
  • Take a critical look at current marketing efforts and find ways to make the program better. Create systems and processes that allow us to increase efficiency.
  • Project manage the entire marketing process from concept to execution to follow up–often managing up and down and synthesizing lots of feedback while also sharing own opinions and expertise.
  • Create regular corporate communications to share updates on the business to the entire team.
  • Lead proactive media relations efforts, building positive relationships across all media channels nationally and internationally.
  • Digital execution and distribution of created materials across all relevant channels.
  • Keep a 10k contact HubSpot database optimized,up to date, and functional.
  • Executing HubSpot email campaigns and workflows, followed by strong analysis and synthesis of learnings.
  • Oversee multiple vendor relationships, ensuring that they are well managed,and all administrative needs are taken care ofin a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:
  • Ambition, initiative and a track record of success.
  • Self starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. Someone who isn’t afraid to experiment, try new things and learn from the experiments.
  • 5yearsof marketing, comms, or project management experience at a professional services agency.
  • Experience managingand leading multiplevendors, including handling related administrative duties and billing.
  • Project management skills with the ability to juggle andprioritize multiple projects and keep them all on time and onbudget.
  • Organization and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong writing skills—the ability to take an idea and bones of a though piece or marketing piece and turn it in to prose.
  • Full knowledge of the Microsoft suite, expertise inPPT and Excel. Strong communication skills with a proven ability to motivate others.
  • Experience inSaaSmarketingis preferred.
  • HubSpot, WordPress,andHootsuite experience is preferred (or similar platforms).
  • Experience or an eye for digital design in a plus.
